NBSC Delegates Acknowledge Generosity in their Journey to the Assessment Institute 2023 and IUPUI: Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

The road to the Assessment Institute 2023 at Indianapolis, Indiana, USA and IUPUI: Indiana University last October 29-31, November 1-2, 2023 was marked by aspiration and perspiration, a journey that the NBSC academic community had been eagerly anticipating. For the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa and the Quality Assurance and Planning and Development Director, Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan, this event presented a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, providing a platform to learn, network, and share experiences with education assessment experts and peers in the different academic institutions around the globe. This dream was made possible through the generous backing of the Commission on Higher Education, Board of Trustees, and the Northern Bukidnon State College community.

The collective support of the NBSC Board of Trustees headed by the Chairman, Dr. Jo Mark M. Libre; the Commission on Higher Education –International Affairs Service, with the directorship of Attorney Lily Freida C. Macabangun- Milla; the BOT Vice-Chair, President Catherine Roween C. Almaden; the Vice-President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Helen E. Maasin; the International Networking Office Director, Dr. Mary Koren W. Acuesa; and the whole of NBSC stood firmly behind the participants, offering financial assistance, mentorship, and a remarkable sense of community spirit allowed the journey to the Assessment Institute to take shape, showcasing the strength and generosity of a community. This support underscores the commitment of the CHED and Board of Trustees to the development and growth of the State Universities and Colleges in the Philippines.
