NBSC EXTENSION PROJECTS ACCEPTED FOR THE ASEAN CONFERENCE ON EXTENSION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (ACES) SUMMIT 2025
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) proudly announces that its extension projects have been accepted for the Search for the Most Outstanding ASEAN SDG Project, an initiative under the ASEAN Conference on Extension for Sustainable Development Goals (ACES) Summit 2025, hosted by the City College of Cagayan de Oro. Winners will be formally recognized during the ACES Summit 2025 on November 29, 2025, in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines.
The ACES Summit 2025 invites transformative projects that drive community change and make meaningful contributions to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This regional recognition highlights the initiatives of higher education institutions, civil society organizations (CSOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the private sector in promoting inclusive and sustainable development across Southeast Asia.
NBSC’s accepted extension projects exemplify its steadfast commitment to community empowerment, sustainability, and innovation — aligning local initiatives with global goals. These projects reflect the institution’s mission of nurturing responsive, engaged, and globally conscious citizens who actively contribute to peace and sustainable progress in Northern Mindanao and beyond.
The Community Extension Service Division (CESD) extends its heartfelt gratitude to NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE; Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa; OIC-Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Benzar L. Grepon; and Research, Development, and Innovation Division (RDID) Director Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa for their unwavering support and leadership. Their continued guidance strengthens NBSC’s role in advancing transformative and sustainable community engagements.
As the ACES Summit 2025 approaches, NBSC stands proud in its ongoing commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through education, research, and impactful extension programs.
