NBSC HONORED BY MANOLO FORTICH SANGGUNIANG BAYAN FOR OUTSTANDING LET ACHIEVEMENT
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) was formally recognized by the Sangguniang Bayan of Manolo Fortich for its performance in the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). The recognition was granted through Resolution No. 2025-552C, approved during the 26th Regular Session of the 21st Sangguniang Bayan on December 23, 2025, and was conferred during a Flag Raising Ceremony held on January 12, 2026, at the New Government Center in Tankulan, Manolo Fortich.
The recognition highlighted NBSC’s strong showing in the national board examination, particularly the achievement of alumna Ms. Christine Tacasan Landayan, who placed Top 7 in the LET Secondary Level with a 93.60% rating among 79,493 examinees nationwide. The resolution cited her accomplishment as reflective of disciplined preparation, academic rigor, and the quality of teacher education at NBSC.
The recognition was formally communicated to Dr. Christine Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, College President of NBSC, through a letter from the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan, conveying congratulations and inviting the institution to the ceremony where the resolution was officially recognized.
Present during the ceremony were Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Christine C. Royo, Head of the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE), who joined the College President in representing NBSC. The parents of Ms. Landayan were also in attendance, with their support acknowledged as part of her academic journey.
The resolution was unanimously approved by the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, led by Hon. Reynaldo L. Bagayas, Jr., Municipal Vice-Mayor, and certified by Janice C. Bacol, Secretary to the Sangguniang Bayan.
More than a formal acknowledgment, the recognition affirms NBSC’s continued commitment to academic excellence—one shaped by sustained institutional growth and outcomes that extend beyond the classroom.
