Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held its awarding ceremony for Intramurals 2025 on October 8, 2025, at the Municipal Gym in Manolo Fortich. The event opened with a solemn invocation and the singing of the national anthem. Centered on the theme “Unleashing the Champions Within: Unity, Strength, and Excellence,” the program honored outstanding participants from various competitions, celebrating their dedication and achievements before the NBSC community.
Awardees were honored in the presence of key institutional leaders, including Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, SUC President I; Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice-President for Academic Affairs (VPAA); Sir Benzar Glen S. Grepon, MIT, Supervising Administrative Officer; Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, Director of the Curriculum and Instruction Division (CID); Sir Alven L. The gathering also provided opportunities for commemorative photographs, celebrating the participants’ achievements.
The event reflected the unwavering commitment and hard work of everyone involved—from the athletes and coaches who demonstrated remarkable perseverance and teamwork, to the organizers and staff whose behind-the-scenes dedication ensured a smooth and memorable experience. This collective effort not only highlighted individual talents but also reinforced the spirit of camaraderie that defines the NBSC community. In recognition of their overall performance, the Institute for Business Management (IBM) emerged as the champion, followed closely by the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE) as the first runner-up, with the Institute for Computer Studies (ICS) securing the position of second runner-up.
In her closing remarks, Dr. Delosa extended her appreciation to all individuals and groups instrumental in the event’s success—highlighting the contributions of the Student Affairs and Services Development Division (SASDD) and its Head, Ma’am Rowena E. Bagongon, MA; the Sports Development Office (SDO) and its Head, Ms. Grace P. Quiblat, MAED; organizing committees; and student leaders. Emphasis was placed on carrying the experiences and values gained through the intramural activities into academic and personal development.
Dr. Ganiera offered her congratulations and invited everyone to observe a brief moment of quiet reflection. She then proceeded to remind attendees about the 5th Conversion Anniversary scheduled for the following morning at the Municipal Gym and announced that October 10 (Friday) will be designated as Mental Health Day, during which participants are required to join a two-hour webinar from the comfort of their homes.
NBSC remains committed to fostering holistic development through initiatives that promote excellence, collaboration, and well-being.
