NBSC LAUNCHES PASUNDAYAG – HIBLA NG KULTURA BY HONORING HERITAGE AND SHOWCASING SKILLS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) hosted the first day of PASUNDAYAG – Hibla ng Kultura with the theme, “𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴” on April 27, 2026, at the NBSC campus. The event gathered participants to celebrate creativity, heritage, and athletic talent in a day full of engaging activities.
The morning began with a lively parade, showcasing the energy and anticipation of the people present. Niemfa Love W. Manginsay, MAGC, Head of the Department of General Curricula (DGEC), delivered the welcome address and led the ceremonial opening at the NBSC Covered Court.
In her message, NBSC President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, noted that “through the arts and sports, you find your voice and express pride in your heritage,” emphasizing how the celebration embodies the College’s commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive education.
Students showcased their skills and teamwork in the Anyo & Latin competitions. The morning also included the Global Citizenship Education (GCED) graduation, offering a moment to recognize dedication and achievement. The session concluded with closing remarks from Grace P. Guiblat, MA, Head of PathFit / Sports Development Office, who reflected on the day’s activities.
PASUNDAYAG – Hibla ng Kultura embodies NBSC’s vision of creating a space where every voice and identity is valued. It honors the threads of culture that connect the community, fostering pride in heritage while encouraging collaboration and creativity. For participants, this is a chance to showcase their talents, engage with others, and take part in experiences that enrich both their skills and their sense of belonging.
