NBSC Leads Tree Planting and Clean-Up Drive for 125th Civil Service Anniversary
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through its Human Resource Management Development Office (HRMDO), in collaboration with the Community Extension Services Division (CESD) and the General Services Office (GSO), spearheaded a tree planting and clean-up drive on September 24, 2025, in celebration of the 125th Civil Service Anniversary.
The tree planting activity was held at Banyugan Falls, Barangay Maluko, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, one of the adopted community sites of NBSC for environmental protection and sustainability efforts. MENRO, CENRO, LGU personnel, NBSC faculty, staff, and personnel joined hands in planting native tree seedlings and conducting a clean-up around the falls area to promote biodiversity conservation, restore greenery, and ensure the cleanliness of the natural site.
This initiative highlighted NBSC’s commitment to environmental stewardship and public service, aligning with the Civil Service Commission’s call to uphold “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan” in government service. More than just commemorating the anniversary, the event served as a meaningful contribution to ecological preservation and community partnership, reinforcing NBSC’s advocacy for sustainability and responsible citizenship.
