NBSC WELCOMES NEW EMPLOYEES AND HIGHLIGHTS UPCOMING INSTITUTIONAL PRIORITIES
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held its first work day of the week convocation on October 14, 2025, at the 1st floor of the Student Welfare and Development Center (SWDC). The program began with a song of praise led by Roylyn Z. Baquial, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the NBSC Hymn.
Ms. Rahbie B. Adaptar-Teologo, RPM, Head of the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) formally introduced the newly-hired plantilla employees, who subsequently took their oath of office administered by Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, SUC President I.
The new appointees include:

- Blessel Jane M. Quiño, Administrative Officer IV (Information Officer II) – Public Affairs and Information Office

- Asimah G. Abdulsalam, Instructor I – Institute for Teacher Education
- Cedric S. Cubacub, Instructor I – Institute for Teacher Education

During the session, Dr. Ganiera shared several announcements. She outlined upcoming plans that include the video recording of the prayer and Pambansang Awit—where NBSC staff will don Filipiniana and Barong attire as they sing. She also discussed the year-end institutional and office evaluations, upcoming budgets for various events, and the 4th Quarter Board of Trustees Meeting scheduled for November. Additionally, Dr. Ganiera highlighted the institution of spot awards recognizing notable achievements. She also shared updates on proposed changes to the Tuesday uniform policy, a topic facilitated by Sir Benzar Glen S. Grepon, MIT, Supervising Administrative Officer.
Reminders from Dr. Ganiera included the October 17, 2025 deadline for submitting the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (ICPR), the impending evaluation of the Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) the following week, and the simultaneous budget hearing wherein office heads will present budget proposals for the upcoming fiscal year. The deadlines for the Work and Financial Plan (WFP) and Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) were also emphasized.
After the President’s reminders, Ms. Teologo proceeded to recognize the newly hired Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) personnel:

Special recognitions included the awarding of the “Lady of the Night” title to Ma’am Amor M. Morada and the commendation of CSC Career Service Examination Passers Sir Pablito Amor C. Gumonan and Ms. Fretzel Vann L. Ayo-on.
In addition, Sir John Mark L. Boyonas, Head of the Campus Safety and Security Office, provided an overview of the Disaster Response and Emergency Action Management (DREAM) Team. He stressed that active participation from all personnel is essential in ensuring effective disaster preparedness and reviewed the protocols to be followed during classes.
Through the induction of new employees and the discussion of institutional priorities, NBSC reaffirmed its commitment to cultivating a capable workforce and advancing its mission of academic excellence, efficiency, and resilience.
