400 NBSC Graduating Students Join Tree-Planting Drive to Promote Environmental Stewardship
In a show of environmental commitment, 400 graduating students of Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) participated in a tree-planting activity on July 11, 2025, in Barangay San Miguel, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The event was organized in coordination with the Student Affairs Services and Development Division (SASDD) and in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO).
This initiative complies with Resolution No. 2022-4567 of the 26th Sangguniang Panlalawigan, which mandates that graduating college students plant a tree as part of their civic and environmental responsibilities.
This meaningful activity aimed to instill a strong sense of environmental responsibility and sustainability among graduating students, contribute to the provinceโs reforestation efforts, and promote community engagement and ecological awareness within the student body.
Through this initiative, NBSC continues to nurture academic excellence, active citizenship, and environmental advocacy among its graduates.
