NBSC JAAC ADDRESSES FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS IN SPECIAL MEETING
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held a Joint Academic and Administrative Council (JAAC) Special Meeting on May 12, 2026, at the NBSC Boardroom to discuss financial and administrative matters for institutional consideration and endorsement to the Board of Trustees (BOT).
Prior to the discussion of the agenda, the survey results for the proposed personnel uniform design for 2026 were presented by Mr. Aldwin Lester M. Martinez, head of the Information and Communications Technology Management Office (ICTMO). Comments and suggestions from the council were addressed, leading to the finalization of the design.
The meeting proceeded with the presentation and discussion of agenda items, which included financial matters such as various requests for endorsement for the review and concurrence of the BOT Finance Committee and approval of the Board. The JAAC also took up administrative matters, including the request for approval of proposed institutional initiatives aligned with National Budget Circular (NBC) No. 602 on the adoption of austerity measures in view of the declaration of a state of national energy emergency under Executive Order (EO) No. 110. Other matters were likewise covered in the discussion.
Following the agenda discussions, Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan, head of the Quality Assurance Office (QAO), presented reminders regarding the upcoming ISO Stage 2 Mock Audit.
The meeting formed part of JAAC’s continuing mechanism for addressing institutional concerns requiring policy-level action. It also reinforced NBSC’s ongoing coordination efforts in accordance with existing issuances and institutional operational priorities.
