NBSC HOLDS SPECIAL Q2 BOT FINCOM MEETING WITH NEW DOST 10 REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held a Special Board of Trustees (BOT) Finance Committee Meeting for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 2nd Quarter on May 19, 2026, through a hybrid setup at the NBSC Boardroom and via Zoom. The meeting also marked the first official engagement with the newly appointed Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region X Regional Director, Dr. Mark Lemuel L. Garcia.
The session formally opened with the determination of quorum, followed by the approval of the provisional agenda. Committee members then proceeded to discuss several requests for endorsement subject to BOT approval, including the Request for Endorsement of the Supplemental Budget and Realignment of Various Accounts under FY 2025 and the Request for Endorsement of the Authority to Procure Various Projects. The proposals were presented to ensure that institutional resources and planned procurements remain aligned with NBSC’s operational and developmental priorities.
The meeting highlighted NBSC’s continuing efforts to strengthen financial planning and institutional coordination through active collaboration among its governing bodies. By addressing budgetary adjustments and project procurement requirements early, the College positions itself to better support campus initiatives, improve service delivery, and sustain programs that contribute to the growth of the institution and its academic community.
