NBSC AWARDS CONTRIBUTORS BEHIND QUALITY SYSTEMS AND STUDENT SUCCESS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) recognized individuals, divisions, offices, units, and teams during the Monday Convocation held on June 22, 2026, at the NBSC Covered Court through the On-the-Spot (OTS) Awards and the ISO Audit Results Awarding Ceremony. The recognition served as the College’s way of expressing gratitude for their contributions to institutional performance and for helping secure the recommendation for Stage 2 ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The OTS awardees were the following:
• Rowena E. Bagongon, Director of the Student Affairs, Services, and Development Division (SASDD), and Maria Michaela Q. Jamora, Head of the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO), for leading and facilitating the participation of NBSC delegates in the Esa Unggul International Events 2026, resulting in notable achievements and international recognition for the College;
• Mary Ann Charmaine O. Tapulayan-Dumana, Jovenel B. Dadulla, and Cedric S. Cubacub, for coaching the same delegates and supporting their outstanding performance during the international event;
• Adonis E. Onahon and Milleanne Kaye O. Remotigue, for coaching Ms. Ellen Grace A. Pareño, who placed seventh in the Songwriting Competition during the 12th Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) National Culture and the Arts Festival 2026; and
• Karl Clyde Stephen C. Acosta and Karyl Ann E. Ellovido, for their dedicated service as members of the Inspectorate Team from February 21, 2023, to April 2026.
The ISO Audit Results Awarding recognized divisions, offices, units, and teams based on the positive findings of the Stage 2 external audit. The audit highlighted strong leadership in implementing the Quality Management System (QMS), sustained research productivity, effective coordination among offices, and the timely availability of documents during the evaluation process. These observations reflected well-established internal processes and the College’s readiness to meet external quality standards.
