NBSC PRESIDENT JOINS PASUC 3RD EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING TO DISCUSS KEY HIGHER EDUCATION POLICIES
NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, participated in the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) 3rd Executive Board Meeting on July 24, 2026, joining fellow State Universities and Colleges (SUC) leaders to discuss key issues affecting public higher education. Among the agenda items were updates on the Draft SUC Leveling Guidelines, the proposed pathways for SUC presidents nearing the end of their terms, and budget concerns for State Universities and Colleges under the proposed FY 2027 National Expenditure Program.
The Board also discussed updates on the AACCUP Institutional Accreditation criteria, emphasizing the continuous enhancement of quality assurance standards across SUCs. NBSC’s participation reflects the College’s commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that strengthen governance, institutional excellence, and the delivery of quality higher education.
