NBSC HIGHLIGHTS NEW PERSONNEL AND INCLUSIVITY DURING MONDAY CONVOCATION
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held its Monday Convocation on July 27, 2026, at the NBSC Covered Court, featuring new members of the NBSC community and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
The Campus Safety Management Office (CSMO) introduced the current and new security guards during the program. Atty. Joseph L. Garcia also took his oath as Attorney IV and Head of the Legal Office.
Atty. Garcia then delivered a talk titled “Promoting Disability Rights, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Equal Participation in Higher Education” in observance of the 48th National Disability Rights Week. The session, a joint effort by the Legal Office and the Gender and Development Office (GADO), aligned with the national theme “Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development.” He reminded the audience that every member of NBSC represents the institution outside its gates; since they can only carry the College’s core values, they must endeavor to uphold them, given that individual actions shape the public’s view of the school.
Zandra Shellee Y. Ordinan, MA, Head of the GADO, followed with an interactive question-and-answer segment based on the earlier discussion.
The Monday Convocation serves not only as a platform for updates but also reinforces existing policies to ensure that safety, legal integrity, and genuine inclusion remain deeply embedded in daily campus operations.
