NBSC joins the NEDA-X Local Consultations on the Formulation of the Regional Development Plan 2023-2028 for the Province of Bukidnon
Manolo Fortich Bukidnon – The Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) participated the series of provincial and highly-urbanized city consultations conducted by the National Economic and Development Authority Regional Office 10 (NEDA-X) on the formulation of the Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023-2028 for the province of Bukidnon. NBSC attended as part of the Regional Team resource persons during the local consultations on November 10, 2022, at the Bukidnon Folk Arts Theater, Kaamulan Grounds, Malaybalay City.
The Research and Extension Director, Ms. Caroline Laarni R. Sereñas, represented NBSC in the Social Development Sector group, where she emphasized the importance of multi-agency collaboration for the region’s inclusive research and development initiatives.
The local consultations were organized by NEDA-X with the main objective of engaging the local government units (LGUs) and other stakeholders to ensure that local aspects of development are included in the crafting of the plan. The activity was done to ensure consistency, convergence, and complementation of the RDP with various local development plans.
