NBSC celebrates National Women’s Month 2023

Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – The Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) celebrated Women’s Month 2023, which ran throughout March with the theme “WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society.” The Gender and Development Focal Point System (GAD FPS), led by the Focal Person, Ms. Zandra Shellee Y. Ordinan, organized a range of activities for the month-long celebration.

The activities included trivia quizzes every Monday during the Convocation, the Purple Wednesday – where employees were encouraged to wear something purple on Wednesdays, the Display Board Contest, and a seminar that highlighted the stories of resilient and empowered women from different backgrounds.

“We are proud to be able to celebrate Women’s Month and acknowledge the significant contributions of women to our society. NBSC remains committed to promoting gender equality and empowering women to reach their full potential,” said Ms. Ordinan.

The NBSC’s Women’s Month Celebration culminated on April 12, 2023, with a program that featured the TikTok Dance Challenge, inspiring messages from NBSC executives, and pampering sessions. The event was a resounding success, with students, faculty, and staff coming together to celebrate the achievements and strengths of women.

The NBSC community is proud to have marked Women’s Month 2023 with a celebration that fosters an inclusive and equitable society.
