This initiative aims to align ICNSF’s educational practices with national standards, fostering a more competitive landscape for higher education. NBSC is a valuable resource due to its successful conversion from NBCC to NBSC in 2020.
ICNSF officials led by Dr. Romillo C. Apas, Sr., were welcomed by NBSC’s officials., supervised by the College President, Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden. Extensive exchanges of discussions were pertained to knowledge-sharing, institutional requirements, evaluation processes, and innovative strategies employed by NBSC during its conversion.
By gaining insights from this benchmarking activity, ICNSF will be guided to refine its plans and procedures for becoming Iligan City Polytechnic State College through Republic Act No. 11856. This conversion would mark a significant step forward in the institution’s growth and contribution to the local community.
