NBSC BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVES KEY FINANCIAL MATTERS FOR FY 2026 AND FY 2027
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) convened its 1st Quarter Special Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting for Calendar Year 2026 on January 28, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., conducted via Zoom. The meeting was presided over by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong.
In attendance were NBSC President I, Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, along with College and Board Secretary Caroline Laarni R. Serenas, MPS, and other personnel who provided administrative and technical support throughout the proceedings.
The meeting formally opened with a call to order, prayer, and confirmation of quorum. Following the approval of the provisional agenda, the Board proceeded with the discussion of new business.
The key items presented were requests for approval concerning several financial matters, such as the awarding of various projects undertaken through early procurement activity, the updated Annual Procurement Plan (APP) for Non-Common-Use Supplies and Equipment (Non-CSE) for the 2nd Semester of Calendar Year (CY) 2025, the NBSC Program of Receipts and Expenditures for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026, and the budget proposal for FY 2027. Each of these financial matters was carefully reviewed and received the necessary approval from the Board.
The decisions made during the meeting reinforce NBSC’s capacity to move forward with its planned initiatives. By securing essential resources and confirming funding, the Board’s approvals ensure NBSC is well-positioned for the challenges and opportunities ahead, paving the way for its continued growth and success.
