NBSC Builds Better Systems through Benchmarking
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) continues to take proactive steps in elevating its institutional systems and programs through a benchmarking visit to the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Cagayan de Oro Campus (USTP-CDO) on September 22, 2025.
Representing NBSC in this activity were:
- Community Extension Services Division (CESD): Mr. Alven L. Gomez, MSEST
- International Affairs and External Linkages (IAELO): Ms. Maria Michaela Q. Jamora, MS
- General Services Office (GSO): Mr. Fritchar H. Gevero, MA
The benchmarking focused on three key offices at USTP-CDO: the Office of Environmental and Safety Management, the University Extension Office, and the Internationalization Office. These units shared their successful strategies in areas such as sustainability, workplace safety, global engagement, and community outreach.
Through presentations and discussions, NBSC gained valuable knowledge that will inform the enhancement of its own programs and institutional practices.
This initiative reflects NBSC’s unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous development. By fostering partnership and exchanging expertise, NBSC aspires to better align its services with global standards while remaining deeply responsive to the needs of its local communities.
