NBSC commemorates World Mental Health Day
The Northern Bukidnon State College fosters the significance of raising mental health awareness through the celebration of Word Mental Health Day held this October 10, 2024 at NBSC’s covered court.
The Offices of Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Guidance, and Students Affairs and Services initiated the celebration through the Pag-amuma Ginhawa Program to highlight the significance of the culture of care in the institution.
The college president, Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, EdD, CESE expressed her commitment to support this activity, “I am truly excited to be part of this endeavor of prioritizing mental health through the Pag-amuma Ginhawa Program under the leadership of our Vice President for Academic Affairs, along with the Guidance, and Student Affairs and Services heads and personnel. I aim to create a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels empowered to do the same. Together, let us uplift one another in our unique journeys, fostering a culture of self-love and resilience that helps us all flourish. As we celebrate World Mental Health Day, let us commit to fostering an environment that prioritizes mental wellness, embraces our diversity, and supports one another on this journey”.
The aforementioned activity reinforced open conversations and various engaging activities to strengthen camaraderie and savor the prioritization of mental health in the workplace.
