NBSC Commits to Care: Donate Blood, Save Lives
In observance of the 125th Civil Service Commission (CSC) Month, Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) conducted the second round of its campus-wide Blood Donation Activity this year, on September 17, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the SWDC 2nd Floor Lobby.
The event was a joint effort between the Health Services Office (HSO), headed by Mr. Karl Clyde Stephen C. Acosta, in collaboration with the Department of Health, Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao (DOH-CHD-NM).
Eligible members of its academic and administrative community participated in this important initiative. Every blood donation will contribute directly to saving lives and supporting patients in critical need, reflecting the institute’s ongoing commitment to public service and community health.
This initiative was conducted in line with Republic Act No. 7719, also known as the National Blood Services Act of 1994, which promotes voluntary, non-compensated blood donation as a vital public health service.
By promoting responsibility, inclusivity, and sustainability, NBSC strengthened its commitment to academic excellence while also advancing community health and well-being. Through initiatives like this, the College continues to demonstrate its dedication to service and transformative leadership, as well as ardent support for national efforts.
