NBSC Conducts Stakeholders Consultation on Key Institutional Policies
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) conducted a stakeholders’ consultation via Zoom on February 18, 2026, presenting two significant institutional policies aimed at strengthening the college’s programs and services.
The first policy, titled “Policy on the Utilization and Management of Income Generated by the Income Generation Program (IGP) Office,” was presented by Ms. Elaine Marie J. Ombina, Director of the Auxiliary Services Division (ASD). The presentation highlighted strategies for efficient use and management of funds generated through NBSC’s income-generating projects, ensuring transparency and sustainability.
The second was the Policy on the Operations of the Indigenous Cultural and Creative Innovation (ICCI) Hub, which was presented by Mr. Jun Arthur A. Binayao on behalf of Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Division (RDID). This policy emphasizes the development and promotion of indigenous and creative innovations, supporting research, cultural preservation, and entrepreneurship among NBSC stakeholders.
The consultation was attended by students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external partners, fostering a collaborative dialogue on policy implementation. During the open forum, Mr. Ferdinand Dwight Navarro, Central Student Government (CSG) President, inquired about the role of students in both policies, prompting discussions on student engagement and participation in income-generating initiatives and ICCI Hub programs.
The session reflected NBSC’s commitment to inclusive decision-making, aligning institutional policies with stakeholder needs and sustainable development goals.
