NBSC DRIVES GLOBAL ACADEMIC EXCHANGE AS TERC 7 CO-HOST
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) successfully co-hosted the 7th International Teacher Education Research Conference (TERC 7) alongside Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan on May 28–30, 2026. Guided by the theme, “Innovating with Integrity: Advancing Education and Research for a Sustainable Future,” the conference united educators, researchers, graduate students, and academic leaders to share research findings, exchange innovative ideas, and strengthen collaborations that advance teacher education.
NBSC’s active participation was driven by the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE), led by Dr. Christine C. Royo, whose commitment to academic excellence continues to foster faculty development and scholarly engagement. Ms. Helen B. Ajon served as the NBSC TERC 7 Focal Person and represented the college in key conference roles.
Among those who served as lead facilitators across various sessions were Ms. Mary Ann Charmaine O. Tapulayan-Dumana, Mr. Jovenel B. Dadulla, Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, Ms. Charry Mae C. Grepon, Ms. Noraisah U. Radaza, Mr. Dave G. Laga, Dr. Jonel C. Murillo, and Mr. Cedric S. Cubacub.
NBSC’s strong academic presence was further reflected in the participation of its Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, as a Round Table Discussant and its Research Development and Innovation Division (RDID) Director, Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, as a judge for the Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition.
This vital involvement of the faculty played a significant role in the success of TERC 7 and highlighted NBSC’s growing presence in research, innovation, and academic excellence. Through these strong partnerships, the College reaffirms its commitment to advancing teacher education, cultivating a vibrant research culture, and supporting sustainable educational development.
