NBSC-QAO HOSTS BENCHMARKING VISIT FOR PBCC’S QA BID
Officials from Pangantucan Bukidnon Community College (PBCC) visited Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) on July 21, 2026, to benchmark quality assurance practices ahead of their accreditation bid. The Benchmarking Visit, organized by the NBSC’s Quality Assurance Office (QAO), was held at the NBSC Boardroom and centered on PBCC’s goal of securing program accreditation.
College President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, welcomed the visiting delegation alongside Vice President for Administration and Finance John Kevin A. Artuz; Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa; and Quality Assurance Office (QAO) Head Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan. They were joined by QAO personnel May Rose E. Madrid, Fretzel Vann L. Ayo-on, Mia Marisol M. Magpulong, and Michelle Darlyne B. Ricarte.
Leading the PBCC delegation, Quality Assurance Management Chief Professor Lourdes D. Abitona introduced the participating officials, namely QA Secretary Angel Lynn G. Callora, Finance Officer Angelyn D. Buton, and Finance Staff members Farah Grace J. Alfante and Sean Britney G. Torreza. She also reaffirmed PBCC’s aspiration to pursue ALCUCOA program accreditation.
During the dialogue, NBSC officials shared the institution’s quality assurance best practices, emphasizing strong governance as a key factor in achieving successful accreditation. The PBCC delegation also toured the NBSC Quality Assurance Office, where they examined the office’s filing system, organizational chart, and its VMGO, Core Values, and Quality Policy Statement: tools that support and sustain the College’s quality assurance standards.
The visit reflects NBSC’s continuing role in supporting fellow institutions in Bukidnon as they strengthen their own quality assurance systems and work toward higher standards of academic governance.
