NBSC HOLDS SALN ORIENTATION AND PROPER DOCUMENT HANDLING WEBINAR
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) recently conducted an online webinar via Zoom featuring the 2025 Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) Orientation, followed by a session on Proper Document Handling and Control of Official Records, on February 18, 2026. The activity brought together administrative and academic employees in a focused learning session that underscored their roles in financial disclosure and highlighted the importance of organized and well-managed institutional records.
The 2025 SALN Orientation was led by Rahbie B. Adaptar-Teologo, RPm, Head of the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO). She discussed the essential elements of the SALN, clarified common areas of confusion, and outlined proper procedures to ensure accurate and timely submission.
The second part of the webinar focused on document handling practices across offices. Jocie Ann C. Boyles of the Records and Archival Office (RAO) discussed proper procedures for filing, receiving, and routing documents to maintain efficiency and traceability. Aiza Mae H. Bontuyan, Head of RAO, elaborated on effective naming conventions for both physical and digital files and emphasized measures for safeguarding official records. Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan, Head of the Quality Assurance Office (QAO), concluded the discussion with key reminders related to ISO preparations, highlighting the connection between organized documentation and quality assurance efforts.
Well-run institutions are built on systems that operate quietly but consistently in the background. By reinforcing precise reporting and disciplined record control, NBSC strengthens the structure behind its daily operations, ensuring that accountability, order, and readiness remain embedded in its institutional practices.
