NBSC-IBM CONDUCTS PINNING CEREMONY FOR INTERNSHIP STUDENTS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) hosted a meaningful Pinning Ceremony on February 11, 2026, at the NBSC Covered Court. Centered on the theme “Pinning the Path to Professional Excellence,” the event highlighted the culmination of dedication, learning, and growth for the 4th-year students of the Institute for Business Management (IBM). The ceremony commenced with the formal entrance of the IBM students, followed by the faculty procession.
Opening remarks were delivered by Ma. Cassandra A. Ragandang-Tubongbanua, MBA, Program Head of IBM, who emphasized the significance of this milestone in shaping future professionals. Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, SUC President I, encouraged the students to move forward while balancing achievement with well-being.
The keynote speaker, Ms. Joenel P. Jayona, Human Resource Supervisor of the RMCC Group of Companies, Inc., was introduced by Roseanne B. Lontian, MBM, of the IBM Faculty. Ms. Jayona shared insights on meeting the evolving demands of the business world with competence and adaptability.
A central highlight of the program was the distribution of pins, symbolizing the transition from academic preparation to professional immersion. This was followed by the Pledge of Interns, a tribute to parents acknowledging their unwavering support, and recognition of recent Civil Service passers, presented by Josefino M. Ladao Jr., MMBM, IBM Faculty.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Teofany M. Siton, MBA, leaving the audience with a sense of pride and motivation.
The Pinning Ceremony not only marked an important rite of passage for the students but also reaffirmed NBSC’s commitment to nurturing capable and forward-thinking professionals. It reflected a culture of growth and excellence that continues to set the tone for how NBSC prepares students to navigate the evolving demands of their chosen fields.
