NBSC JOINS FLUP 2026-2033 TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP OF LGU MANOLO FORTICH
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) proudly announces that Mr. Alven L. Gomez, MSEST, Director of the Community Extension Services Division (CESD), and Mr. Melven I. Valmoria, MS, DGEC Extension Coordinator, have been selected as members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Updating of the Forest Land Use Plan (FLUP) 2026–2033 of the Manolo Fortich.
Their inclusion in the TWG signifies the strong partnership between NBSC and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manolo Fortich in advancing sustainable environmental governance and science-based land use planning. The Forest Land Use Plan serves as a critical framework for the protection, management, and sustainable utilization of forest resources, ensuring ecological balance while supporting local development goals.
As members of the TWG, Mr. Gomez and Mr. Valmoria will contribute their expertise in community engagement, environmental education, research, and policy development. Their participation highlights NBSC’s commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration with local stakeholders and promoting evidence-based decision-making in environmental planning.
Mr. Gomez and Mr. Valmoaria expressed their sincere gratitude to the LGU of Manolo Fortich for the trust and confidence extended to them. They likewise conveyed their appreciation to the College President, Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, for her guidance and approval that made this collaboration possible.
