NBSC LAUNCHES LEARNERS INTO PROFESSIONAL PURSUITS
Northern Bukidnon State College’s Institute of Business Management (NBSC-IBM) successfully held its Crossover Ceremony for internship students on October 1, 2025, at the Student Welfare and Development Center (SWDC) 1st floor lobby. With the theme “Transforming Knowledge into Action: The Journey Begins,” the event marked a significant milestone in preparing students for real-world professional experiences.
The ceremony began with an inspiring audio-visual presentation (AVP) that showcased the students’ dedication and hard work, setting a motivating tone for the day ahead. Ms. Cassandra A. Ragandang-Tubongbanua, MBA, IBM Department Head, congratulated the students on embarking on their journey toward becoming future professionals. She emphasized that the pin each student received symbolizes their responsibility to uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and service.
Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, SUC President I, expressed NBSC’s pride in preparing its students for greater challenges and encouraged them to embrace resilience as they step into their professional roles. She further reminded them to be guided by the core values of NBSC, which will help them navigate the complexities of the professional world.
Following her message, Mr. Josefino M. Ladao Jr., MMBM, IBM Instructor, introduced the guest speaker for the event, Jolibee Cuda Paca, an Accounting Supervisor at FOGTRAIL INC. in Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. In her address, Paca urged the students to remain grateful for the support they have received from their families, mentors, and peers, recognizing that their current success would not be possible without this foundation. She told them to view their upcoming job training not just as a task, but as an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
The ceremony continued with the distribution of pins and the Interns’ Pledge. A touching tribute to parents followed. Ms. Teofany M. Siton, MMBM, IBM Program Coordinator, delivered the closing remarks, commending the interns for reaching this pivotal stage.
The successful execution of the Crossover Ceremony reflects NBSC’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals. By providing students with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive, NBSC continues to strengthen its role in shaping a dynamic workforce that will positively impact both the local community and broader industries.
