NBSC Marks Memorable First Flag-Raising Ceremony with Celebrations of Global Exchange, Career Milestones, and the Return of Dr. Ganiera
The first monthly flag-raising program of Northern Bukidnon State College became memorable as the community celebrated numerous achievements, as announced by various offices.
First, the International Affairs and External Linkages Offices (IAELO) initiated the welcoming of the five students from the three-month exchange program, Scholarships and Educational Exchange for Development (SEED) Program, funded by Global Affairs Canada’s International Scholarships Program at Canadore College, Ontario, Canada. The students completed the exchange program and gained exceptional learning from the programs they were exposed to, both academic and cultural experiences.
Jun Arthur Binayao from the Institute for Teacher Education, Kris Cabugao-Pajaron from the Institute for Business Management, Sophia Dalu-an from the Institute for Teacher Education, Pheona Fabro- Institute for Computer Studies, Hencez Heart Miral-Taborno-Institute for Computer Studies thanked the people behind their successful immersion, most especially the college president, Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, for the support, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Helen E. Maasin, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the IAELO Director, Mr. Alven L. Gomez and the rest of the team behind this succesful endevour.
On the other hand, the second batch of recognition is for this year’s NBSC employees’ March Career Service Exam (CSE) passers, namely, Ms. May Rose E. Madrid from the Quality Assurance Office, Julie A. Edmilao from the Finance Department for the Professional Level and Mr. Hubert P. Cuda from the General Services Unit for the Sub-Professional Level.
The community also warmly welcomed Dr. Ganiera’s safe return following her medical leave for an operation. In her message, she outlined the key requirements for achieving important institutional goals this year and various plans for institutional policies. Her remarks served to realign and reenergize all employees, reinforcing their shared commitment and focus as they move forward.
