NBSC PREPARES PACD PERSONNEL TO DELIVER QUALITY PUBLIC ASSISTANCE
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) hosted an orientation session on November 3, 2025, at the Student Welfare and Development Center (SWDC), 1st Floor Lobby for officers assigned to serve at the Public Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD) during November and December 2025. Grounded on R.A. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the event aimed to equip these officers with the knowledge and skills necessary for their roles, ensuring they were well-prepared to effectively carry out their duties as Public Assistance Officers.
The orientation provided a detailed overview of the core responsibilities and expectations for the officers, specifically in relation to their work at the PACD. Mr. Benzar Glen S. Grepon, MIT, the designated focal person for the implementation of the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) at NBSC, served as the main speaker. His presentation focused on preparing the officers for their daily tasks, emphasizing the importance of managing public inquiries and addressing concerns in a professional, efficient manner.
Mr. John Mark L. Boyonas, MAEng, also played a key role in the session, contributing valuable insights into the practical aspects of the officers’ responsibilities. His guidance reinforced the significance of effective communication, problem-solving, and responsiveness in the context of public service. The session was carefully structured to provide participants with the necessary tools and understanding to perform their roles competently, instilling a sense of accountability and professionalism.
By the conclusion of the event, all attendees were fully prepared to fulfill their duties, with the confidence and competence needed to manage public inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care. This orientation underscores NBSC’s ongoing commitment to building a well-trained, responsive team dedicated to meeting the needs of the college community.
