NBSC-SASDD Recognized as Best Implementer in Student Welfare Services
The Student Affairs Services and Development Division (SASDD) of Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) was recognized as the Best Implementer in Student Welfare Services during the Council of Student Affairs and Services Practitioners – Region X (CSASP 10) Conference cum Workshop held on August 26–27, 2025, at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.
With the theme “Rooted in Care, Driven by Innovation: Reimagining Student Affairs and Services for a Healthier Campus Culture,” the conference gathered student affairs leaders across the region to strengthen collaboration and advance academic leadership through dialogue, skill-building, and the exchange of best practices.
NBSC-SASDD was represented by Director Ms. Rowena E. Bagongon, Prefect of Student Discipline Mr. Adonis Onahon, Guidance Counselor Mr. Jo Augustine Corpuz, Sports Coordinator Ms. Grace P. Quiblat, and Publication Adviser and College Grammarian Mr. Jovenel Dadulla.
Participants engaged in intensive sessions that covered current and relevant topics, such as the creation of safe spaces and nurturing mental health. But beyond the formal discussions, the event also provided opportunities for meaningful interaction and professional networking in a more relaxed setting. During the awarding ceremony held after dinner, NBSC-SASDD was honored as the Best Implementer in Student Welfare Services—an affirmation of its steadfast commitment to holistic student development.
This recognition underscores NBSC’s dedication to fostering a supportive and innovative campus environment, further strengthening its role as a champion of student welfare and institutional excellence in the region.
