NBSC Soars High to Brazil for A.I. Course
April 8-11, 2025—Northern Bukidnon State College marked another milestone as the organizing team including ITU, UNESCO, the Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br), the Global Gateway Initiative of the European Union, as well as all instructors and facilitators, welcomed the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa to the face-to-face course on “Artificial Intelligence for the Public Sector”, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
This course offered participants a comprehensive introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on its application within public service. Attendees were guided through the entire process of developing AI-based services tailored for the public sector. The curriculum addressed the functional aspects of AI implementation and explored governance and ethical considerations, providing a holistic understanding of the subject.
Dr. Delosa was chosen from a competitive pool of 260 applications to join 35 participants from 19 countries across all sectors. She promised to use the knowledge and skills she has gained in a re-entry program aimed at enhancing public sector capabilities.
