Newly Installed Air Conditioning at LRC Boosts Student Learning Experience
Study and learning at Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) have become more comfortable and convenient with the recent enhancement of the Learning Resource Center (LRC), which now features newly installed air-conditioning units effective September 18, 2025.
This improvement was made possible through the support and collaborative efforts of the institution and its stakeholders, spearheaded by NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE.
With the new amenities, students enjoy a cooler, more conducive environment that fosters productivity and focus in their academic pursuits.
According to LRC staff member Miss Pinky Grace Castillo, the upgrade has noticeably increased the number of students using the library. “The LRC is now filled with more students each day,” she noted.
Fourth-year Business Administration students Rozzamae Fatima A. Salana and Gabriela Joy B. Pescante, who are currently working on their thesis, also expressed their gratitude.
“Mas comfortable na po dire. Sa una, grabe ka igang ug gamay ra ang chairs. Karon mas daghan na siya ug mas daghan na makagamit dire sa library, (It’s much more comfortable here now. Before, it was really hot and there were only a few chairs. Now there are more, and more students can use the library)” shared Salana.
The NBSC LRC is supervised by Dr. Ermelina C. Bardillas, together with her team.
This continuous development highlights NBSC’s commitment to its mission of providing quality, safe, and student-friendly spaces for learning and recreation.
