Research Leaders of Northern Bukidnon State College with the Research and Extension Office Spearhead Pagbansay 10: Qualitative Research Analysis Using Nvivo for Research Advancement
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) has gathered its project leaders and component leaders to pioneer qualitative research using Nvivo in a dynamic and visionary move toward advancing research. This innovative initiative is poised to bring about transformative change in understanding and addressing crucial multi-disciplinary issues.
Under the dedicated leadership of Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, the College President has consistently strived for excellence in education, research, and community engagement. This new undertaking demonstrates the institution’s commitment to expanding knowledge and research in multi-disciplinary fields. At the heart of this pioneering endeavor is Nvivo, a state-of-the-art qualitative data analysis software developed by QSR International.
Nvivo empowers researchers with a robust platform for collecting, organizing, and analyzing qualitative data efficiently and comprehensively. Dr. Melvin Jabar, the Research Director of De La Salle University-Manila, thoroughly introduced the software.
The component leaders, representing diverse areas of expertise within the college, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing research. Together, they are poised to make a significant contribution to the understanding of complex social issues and the development of evidence-based solutions. Representatives of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) were also present during the training in preparation for the research on the Impact Evaluation on Infrastructure project. Pagbansay 10 would never be possible without the support of Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, the College VPPA, Dr. Helen E. Maasin, the College VPAF and Ms. Caroline Laarni R. Sereňas, the College Research Director. As the qualitative research initiative unfolds at Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), it is a testament to the institution’s commitment to research excellence and community engagement.
