NBSC CHILD MINDING CENTER RECEIVES ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR ITS SERVICES
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) received additional support for its Child Minding Center on September 14, 2026, through a generous contribution from Dr. Juan Romeo Nereus O. Acosta, former Congressman of District 1, Bukidnon.
Managed by the Gender and Development Office (GADO), the Center provides a welcoming space for children while their parents and guardians attend to their responsibilities at NBSC. The assistance adds to the resources available for its day-to-day services and shows how community support can help sustain childcare initiatives on campus.
The Child Minding Center held its soft launch on April 6, 2026. On June 3, 2026, NBSC also joined the official nationwide simultaneous launch and relaunch of childcare facilities under Project PAG-IBIG (Parents Access to Growth through Inclusive, Balanced, and Innovative Guidance), a flagship initiative of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) championed by Commissioner Michelle Aguilar-Ong.
With the continued efforts of GADO and the support of partners and stakeholders, NBSC continues to strengthen childcare services on campus. The Child Minding Center provides parents and guardians with greater peace of mind while they study or work, knowing that their children have a dedicated and accessible space within the College.
