Provincial Board Member of the 1st District of Bukidnon, Hon. Eliezer “Larry” S. Onahon, visits NBSC
The Provincial Board Member of the 1st District of Bukidnon, Hon. Eliezer “Larry” S. Onahon visited the college on July 5, 2023. He met with the College President, Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, and Dr. Ermelina C. Bardilas, the Director of Libraries, to discuss the proposal for financial assistance for Northern Bukidnon State College students. In addition, he consulted with Dr. Almaden about various possibilities in which he can assist the College with educational programs and projects. He committed to providing laptops for students’ use to support the college library’s modernization through its Learning Commons.
Furthermore, Hon. Eliezer “Larry” S. Onahon donated sports equipment for volleyball and basketball for Northern Bukidnon State College students. These were turned over to the Sports Coordinator, Ms. Grace Quiblat.
The educational assistance from Hon. Eliezer “Larry” S. Onahon will be invaluable in attaining the NBSC objectives to increase the chances of student’s degree completion and provide students with modern learning facilities by continuously upgrading educational facilities. NBSC is very grateful for the unending generosity of Bukidnon’s Government Officials who aspire to make a difference in the lives of the young constituents.
