NBSC Delegates Participate in National Innovation Day 2025
๐ค๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐๐, ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ โ ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ฏ๐ฌ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ โ Six representatives from Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) proudly participated in the National Innovation Day 2025 held from April 28 to 30, 2025, at Novotel Manila, Araneta City, Quezon City. The event carried the theme “FLIP: Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines” and brought together innovators, educators, youth leaders, and government stakeholders from across the country.
The NBSC delegation included the two ICS Faculty and four BSIT students, namely Shiela Mae M. Orozco, MIT; Phoebe Ruth Alithea B. Sudaria, MSCA; Marianne Gil M. Estrada; Andree P. Javier; Samantha Nicole Solijon; and Bimbo E. Villaganas. Their participation at this yearโs HABI Workshop (Huddle, Analyze, Build, and Innovate) was in line with the collegeโs commitment to empowering students and faculty with leadership and innovation skills aligned with national development goals.
Throughout the three-day event, the participants engaged in keynote talks, interactive breakout sessions, and innovation exhibitions. These featured successful innovations in Public Administration, Food and Agribusiness, Transportation and Logistics, Learning and Education and Health and Well-Being. The delegation also witnessed national-level pitching competitions and innovation awards, showcasing real-world applications of groundbreaking ideas.
The event highlighted the importance of collaboration between academic institutions, industry, and government in fostering sustainable innovation. They noted the need to equip students with leadership training and access to innovation hubs to accelerate meaningful projects that address real community needs.
The National Innovation Day 2025 served as a transformative experience for the NBSC representatives, who return to the college inspired to champion innovation and leadership among their peers.
